For the bush. By the bush.

We are not a startup. We are not a marketplace. We are not your next product to be optimised.

We are a network of people who go to gatherings in paddocks, valleys and forests across this continent, who build sound systems with their hands, who pick up rubbish at sunrise, who watch each other when the night gets long.

we owe the bush more than the bush owes us.

BUSH DOOF exists because the alternatives — Facebook events, Instagram tags, Resident Advisor — turned our scene into a feed. They mined our gatherings for engagement metrics. They sold our locations to anyone with a credit card. They taught us to perform our culture instead of live it.

We want none of that.

What we are

  • Invite-only. The gate matters.
  • Privacy-first. Your alias is who you are. We don't index, ever.
  • Trust-based. The bush remembers who showed up and who took the rubbish home.
  • Cooperative. Rideshares, gear swap, mutual aid — not paid promotion.
  • Indigenous-respectful. We acknowledge we gather on stolen, unceded land.
  • Harm reduction first. We don't moralise; we look after each other.

What we won't do

  • Sell your data. Period.
  • Run an algorithmic feed.
  • Make events go viral.
  • Index for search engines.
  • Become the next platform that strip-mines the underground.

we'll keep the gate, you keep the culture alive.
